Pod System Rules
Board-Wipe operates on a friendly but structured pod system. Here's what you need to know:
Rule 1
Infinite Combos: Infinite combos may be executed no more than twice per turn.
Rule 2
Gamechanger Limit: Only one "Gamechanger" card is allowed per deck.
Rule 3
Land Destruction: Land destruction is permitted and may target utility lands (e.g., Rogue's Passage, Reliquary Tower).
Rule 4
Decks Allowed: All deck archetypes are allowed, regardless of their popularity.
Supported Formats
We currently run two formats at Board-Wipe:
Commander / EDH
Our primary format: 100-card singleton multiplayer pods (typically 3–4 players). Casual-focused, social multiplayer games.
Limited (Draft & Sealed)
Draft and Sealed events where decks are built from limited card pools — great for events, rotating experiences, and new players.
How Our Pods Work
Casual Meetups
Board-Wipe runs simple, casual meetups — no competitive seasons, rankings, or seasonal rewards. Our events are focused on fun and community.
Pod Formation
Players are grouped into pods of 3–4 players. Pods play independently — casual pairings designed for relaxed play and variety.
Community Events
We also organise non-card community events such as movie nights and out-of-card activities (e.g., darts). These are optional and aimed at socialising.
Deck Building Guidelines
| Format | Deck Size | Card Copies | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Commander | Exactly 100 cards | 1 copy only (singleton) | 1 legendary creature as commander |
| Limited (Draft / Sealed) | Minimum 40 cards | Build from provided pool | Draft or Sealed events |
